About the Perfumer

I am an independent perfumer located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Trained in the classical method of perfumery, I have gone on to develop my own style and aesthetic over the past 29 years. I have 19 years experience in fragrance development for the personal care industry, as well as custom perfume creation for private clients. This is an intense, interactive experience I call the “Bespoke Fragrance Project”.

I enjoy creating “Olfactory Experiences” with my scents….fragrances that literally transport your mind to another place and time. I specialize in vintage and historic perfume recreation, which utilize period-correct natural materials, artisanal distillations, handmade aromatic tinctures & absolutes, as well as seasonal effleurage using native flowers of Western Pennsylvania. I also share my passion and knowledge of perfume making by teaching online and in-person perfume classes and workshops when my schedule permits.
