Join independent perfumers Darren Alan and Emily Schaber of Shelter In Perfumes as they guide you through experiencing eight of the most commonly used citrus notes in perfumery. From the comfort of your own home, you will explore each material through guided smelling, as well as delve into the role of citrus notes in perfumery.

We will blend the citrus materials to build accords, using the materials in various combinations and exploring how they interplay with one another to create accords of varying characteristics, strengths and tenacity. We will conclude our class with a live Q&A session where Darren & Emily will answer your questions about the class content.

Learn to think and smell like a perfumer as we explore top, mid, and base notes. Sniff, imagine, and experiment, then select your favorite combinations for your unique creation.

Classes will take place on Zoom and the cost is $75 for the 2 hour class.
