Ambrette Seed essential oil comes from the seeds of the Hibiscus abelmoschus L. plant, also known as Musk Mallow, Musk Seed and Hibiscus abelmoschus. This exquisite oil is known for its tenacious musk-like qualities. It works as a natural botanical replacement for deer musk and as a fixative to help natural perfumes last longer.

The odor of ambrette seed oil can vary greatly from one supplier to another. This particular oil is a communelle (blend) of 3 different manufacturers to obtain the perfect scent profile. You will not find this particular ambrette seed oil blend at any other supplier. Its odor is delicate yet intense, warm, rich and sweet with fruity, nutty, oily nuances which surround a soft leathery, animalic core.
