Iso E Super® (Patchouli Ethanone) is a versatile perfumery material that adds a velvet-like texture and depth to the mid and base of perfume compositions. In moderate doses it helps to round out rough edges and give fullness and body to a fragrance. In higher doses, it imparts a recognizable “commercial” or “designer” DNA to a fragrance, especially when paired with Hedione® and Ambroxan®.
It is perfect for constructing woody-amber accords due to its elegant & woody nature. It’s odor is dry, woody, cedar-like, with nuances of patchouli & ambergris.
