The Perfume of the Month for July is a modern Vetiver fragrance called Vétiver Blanc. This unisex offering features a beautiful artisanal Vetiver Essential Oil from India.
Vetiver (also known as Khus) has a cooling, calming aroma that is often worn in India during the high heat of the summer to evoke an aura of cooling and tranquility. My exercise with crafting this fragrance was to challenge myself by using materials that are often considered to be dark or heavy, but to utilize them in a light & transparent way. Thus the name Vétiver Blanc (White Vetiver).
This fragrance is sheer and light as a gentle summer breeze. It combines light, zesty citrus notes with sheer tea-like white florals, pink pepper, vanilla, sandalwood, vetiver, oakmoss and white musks.
Top Notes: Bergamot, Grapefruit, Pink Peppercorn
Heart Notes: Juniper, Orange Blossom, Champaca Flower
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Vanilla, Vetiver, Oakmoss, White Musk
