Oakmoss Absolute Traditional (Non-IFRA Compliant)
This traditional oakmoss absolute displays intense, mossy base notes reminiscent of a walk deep in a forest containing ferns, damp soil, moss, fungus & decaying leaves. It has an earthy yet green aroma, with slightly waxy, marine nuances. It is deep & tenacious, lasting for weeks on a test strip. It is derived from hexane-free extraction of a lichen that grows predominantly on the bark of oak trees.
This is the original oakmoss used in the legendary vintage perfumes of the past & is ideal for use in study formulas and for nose-training. This Oakmoss Absolute is NOT IFRA-Compliant and can cause skin irritations and rash in those with sensitivities to its chemical components. It should not be used in fragrances sold in the EU.
