Tea Flower Absolute

from $32.75

This was a difficult to acquire material, but I am so glad I gave this a chance! This is the absolute of the Green Tea (Camellia sinensis) Flower. This is the same bush that gives us green tea leaves. The Camellia sinensis only blooms once per year in the Fall. The flowers are sweet, delicate, floral, green, tea-like and a bit spicy. I have not found any perfumes that utilize this absolute. There are different types of Camellia varieties, some of which have no aroma. But this camellia does have a very unique fragrance. This is a very under-utilized material in perfumery so I am happy to share its beauty with others!
